Purchase Policy |
![]() |
My purchase policy has changed with the times and needs of buyers in conjunction with what is best for a particular dog. These changes are made with about 30 years of breeding experience. These changes are in the best interest of my dogs and the breed as a whole. A contract between a breeders and buyer is a clear way for both of us to establish expectations and responsibilities, respectively. This sales contract is not intended to be a means of control; rather, it serves to protect the health and welfare of the dog that I am selling into a long-term relationship.
All deposits are non-refundable. This is retained in consideration for my holding the puppy in good faith. All returned checks will cancel your puppy sale, unless you contact me immediately. Errors do occur, so let me know. I do not sell any of our terriers into a wholesale situation or a large kennel setting.
Annual photo: This is my way to check on what I produced. I also like to see that the terrier is living as a HOUSE PET, as we agreed at time of sale. I do not sell my pups to live outside unless you are living with them outside also.
Guarantee: Pups are guaranteed against defects that will NOT let them live life as a pampered house pet. Your sales contract clearly explains the terms of my guarantee.
Shipping: I will ship anywhere, weather permitting. I charge only for the direct costs involved. All shipping expenses must be paid prior to my securing an exact ship date.
The typical PET / PERFORMANCE puppy is allowed to go home between 8-12 weeks of age, depending upon the puppy, distance and weather. This pup will have a mandatory neuter agreement. I expect this pup to be neutered within the first year of its life. The average price range is $700 - $850.
CONFORMATION / BREED PROSPECT puppy is sold at 14 weeks of age. Please email for terms. The average price range is $1200 - $2000.
I ACCEPT CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS THROUGH PAYPAL, if you are willing to accept the 3% surcharge. Those Unfortunate Returns: We all have some kind of crisis at some point in our lives and the dog can be caught up in the middle of it. I do understand that and as long as you are truthful with me, I will gladly help you work thru it. I only do this for dogs that I have bred. With this said- PLEASE do not ask me to take back your sick dog. It is not fair to your dog or mine. If this occurs, email me about the situation and for the return policy, checklist and releases.
